Here are the days of the Chol Q’ij mapped onto the Gregorian month of September 2022.

Astronomically, this is a rather quiet month, with the equinox being the major event. This year, the point of equinox will fall on 5 Aq’ab’al (the 23rd) at 01.04 UTC, or 19.04 on 4 Iq’ (the 22nd) here in Guatemala. Another event of interest is that Venus will disappear from our morning skies, according to the Dresden Codex it will cease to be visible from 7 E’ (the 12th). It will return as an evening planet on 6 Iq (11th December 2022)
