Here are the days of the Chol Q’ij mapped onto the Gregorian month of July 2023.

This month is a fairly quiet month astronomically, with the Delta Aquarids meteor shower on the night of the 28th/29th being the only significant event. However, this is known as a moderate shower and as it will fall just after the first quarter it is likely to be further diminished by the light of the waxing moon. Venus will continue to appear to descend, getting lower each night until 5 Q’anil (August 14th) when it will disappear for 8 days, reappearing as a morning planet on 13 Ajmak (August 22nd)
