I have been running Maya calendar workshops for some years now. This workshop is my interpretations of K’iche’ based Maya calendar systems. I draw from my 25+ years of study and my personal experience here in Guatemala since 2008.

I see the Maya sacred calendar (Chol Q’ij) as an amazing tool of navigation. It allows us to look deeply into the energies we were born with, both our benefits and our challenges. By understanding the way in which our natural energies flow, we are able to lead a more fulfilled life. The Maya calendar workshop is designed to give a more in depth understanding of the workings of the Maya sacred calendar and Tree of Life. I will discuss the properties of each nawal and each number. We will also look at how to create composite energies for relationships.

The workshops take around 20 hours, which is spread over 5 days. In this way we have time for questions. These workshops are held  online via the Zoom videoconferencing platform. All teaching sessions are live, as for me it is important to connect directly with my students, there is no pre-recorded content and I limit the number of attendees to six.
